Thanks guys it means alot, I’m ok but the car is a mess. After a very close inspection with the insurance adjuster there doesn’t seem to be a panel untouched from the shock load of the hit…
Can I still hang out with the cool guys if I turn it into the “Worlds Fastest 211” ?
As for the ronin the LA arson detectives were not able to find a cause or a point of origin after the boat sank in 30 ft of water due to being flooded and having the hull cracked by one of the fire boats…
The insurance company decided to lift the hull in order to have their investigators have a look at it in the boat yard but their salvage team were only able to get it up to the surface in an attempt to tow it back and then lost it in 90-160 ft of water…
So now it’s up to the Coast Guard to make the next call to give the ok to abandon the wreck in it’s current location a mile off shore…
I hope they can get it up and back to the boat yard to find the cause… I was under insured and almost a toast point… This shit isn’t supposed to happen.
Thanks again guys this has been the absolute strangest few week in my life, from feeling cool about getting the car ready for the tuned video. Having Andy out for a visit and then my buddy Philippe over from Paris for a canyon run also, when I decide to get away from the car for a few days out on the boat and then all fuckin hell breaks loose…No boat no car, what the fuck ?
Toni and I should have gone to Anglesey and none of this would have happened…
Next year I’m havin one of you guys drag me over… I needa fuckin drink.
I posted that up from a little canyon drive with a buddy of mine from France back in 1984 while driving my 83 turbo esprit…
That was the only ticket I ever got in the canyons ever… He wrote me up for 3 mph over the limit [reduced of course] because I stopped and he was afraid he was going to die in the supercharged Mustang tryin to chase me…
He was a nice guy for a Chip…Notice there were zero guard rails back in those days.
