They really like it, apart from the times it was sick (throttle linkage and they’re claiming they checked the oil and it just vanished…causing the engine to detonate!).It looks like they ran it for the first 1000+ miles with the air in-take valve in! It seemed better afterwards, there’s a surprise.When Lotus fixed the engine they fitted the UCR box (which was well loved) and a neat sounding Pi Research data logging thingy. You can’t see it in the picys and the first I’ve heard of it. Just for info lads…Pi is owned by FORD MOTOR CO. and is used in F1 by Jaguar and now Arrows.Deano
Has anyone told them that they can use 4th and 5th grears, its not a crime?.As for loosing �7000 in 6 months, Ill assume that was the cost of the engine rebuild.I am already loosing confidence in the accuracy of their data.
