I am liking the long scoop 240 roof anyone make these or know where I can get one?
Mark does who makes the 2010 clams on e bay
Or chris neils can convert your standard roof into one.
I have a genuine Lotus Large scoop roof here, was for my car but i now have a carcon one.
Its not painted and has no seals etc etc, but is still in the box (new and unused) 750.00
Carcon, wtf is that Dave lol?
Its like carbon, but even lighter
I wonder where I can buy such wonders lol…
I believe there may be such a trader on Mars
what price could you do the roof with seals and delivery for?
pm if preferred please.
carlos…
I can get them for 400 no seals or fixings (available from Lotus for about 170)
Genuine Lotus for 400.00?? How many can I have?
I’ll have one for 400!!
No not original Dave - you’ve already seen them
They do come in two pieces so you have to glue Sikaflex/Tigerseal them together but its the only way (without an expensive jig)that you can guarantee the fit.
The inner skin (takes the same fittings as original Lotus) is placed onto the car then the sikaflex applied to it & the outer skin attached - this is the best way to make sure it all lines up
me too.

Presumably you do the glue and fit before you paint it? Then apply the seals after paint? Do yo also have to fit the captive nuts or are they already bonded in?

Sorry didn’t see the other replies - if anyone is intersted just PM me. These are made to order approx 7 days & would either need to be collected personally or man in a van(Suffolk) or collected by pallet as they are too big/fragile to post.
Yep that is correct, captive nuts are already bonded in
