Had my S1 exige for just about 12 months now, and have been lurking on here from time to time for a while now. Decided it was time I stopped hiding and registered properly.
I’m involved with a new company, On Track Motorsport, which will initially be offering 2 brand new in 2005, factory built and supported MK Sportscars Indy’s for track day hire anywhere in the UK. We are also going to be offering track days during the coming months at venues around the UK for those who already have access to a car which they would like to track.
We are pleased to announce our first track day. The venue will be Llandow, South Wales, ( Llandow web site ) on hopefully the 6th of October (date to be confirmed in the next couple of days). Llandow is approximately 1 mile long and has recently been resurfaced to MSA standard. It is the perfect track day venue for Lotus or similar performance cars.
Priced at just �95 we believe the day will offer excellent value for money. The day will run from approximately 9am-5pm with a break for lunch, and will allow for no less than 15 minutes of track time per hour per car. No more than 10 cars will be on track at any given time so that those taking part can fully enjoy their day.
We hope to offer what we believe to be a unique experience during the afternoon sessions whereby the track will be run in the reverse direction (anti-clockwise) to that used in the morning, thereby allowing you to experience 2 different track layouts in one day.
There is no extra charge for additional drivers so why not share the day with somebody else and split the costs?
Marshalling and emergency medical cover will be provided for piece of mind to those taking part.
Our MK Indy’s will also be available for hire throughout the day, priced at just �49 per session we hope that this will enable those without their own vehicle to experience the thrills and excitement of driving On Track.
