Liquid refreshment

Discovered this today in my local Booths (Waitrose of the North).
Not tried it as yet but hoping for a hint of Castrol R on the nose . . .

Booths! Haven’t heard that name in a while. They shut the one in media city.

Hope it’s good! Review needed.

First opportunity to try. It’s rather good. And as mentioned on the can its flavour has a resemblance to Italian “digestives”, a light vermouth-ish tang. Among today’s gins it’s quite subtle.

That review was very much a “Pseuds Corner” effort (for those who read Private Eye) and, for which, I apologise

I picked up a can from The Motorist last year. I’m sure 99% of the reason I bought it was for the can.

It is rather nice and I’m not a massive gin drinker (prefer a cold session ale or a whiskey).

Gordon’s is a hard act to follow. But Aldi gin runs it close

When I used to drink Brockmans was my goto gin!

I got some of that engine oil stuff a while ago. As with most of the drink I get bought it’s collecting dust somewhere.

Might try it as glass cleaner

I know your body must be a “temple” now you are racing driver but an occasional snifter might be in order
