Lightweight batteries...

Odyssey 680 seems to be the bat of choice…?

If I go that route I have a couple of questions…

  1. How long do these keep charged when connected to the car (I’m hoping at least a week…), and then if disconnected (I assume this is several months) ?
  2. Can I use one with a standard trickle charger ?
  3. How long do they last - do they crap out after a year or two or go on for years like a well treated lead acid…?

Thanks in advance guys.

Car is currently in bits at EA…lots of things being done…

Matt

The 680 is a bike battery - what you need is the proper motorsport version

Thanks - Looks perfect

It is - it’s that good I bought 2 !!!

Chris - they are non spillable, does that mean they can be mounted on their side? Would make location and access to terminals much easier.

Yup - mine sits on it’s side
