LHD ELISE/2-11 GT4 CUP UK/EUROPE

2 previous owners (myself and Lotus Motorsport) - Never raced.

AU09 registered with 7.5k on the clock (of which I have done approx 1k of them), the car is in very good condition all round and has been maintained without exception, any inspection welcome.

It has a official Lotus Motorsport chassis number (denoted by the ‘HH’ in the VIN code) and has a UK registration V5 document.

It is a LHD car but with UK MPH clocks and lights.

It has a Lotus FIA 6-point rollcage installation was done by Lotus Motorsport when I bought the car from them in 2012 along with the fire extinguisher install and electronic safety cut outs.

I was going to race it in 2013/14 in CUP UK (open class) so decided to turn it from a N/A 190hp into a S/C 2-11 GT4 270ps by adding the full oem 2-11 GT4 supercharger, brake, and suspension kit.

However… It has never raced and has only ever done two (sessioned) track days at Croft since I converted it from N/A to S/C and is now presented for sale. It is a very fast car!

The conversion (approx. 1k ago) consisted of the following from the base 111R car -

That’s a very nicely built car Gav, shame you’re not racing it, you were pretty quick in the NA version before fitting a SC. It’s packing a few more ponies than my standard Elise SC! I’m sure you’ll find a happy customer.

It would be well suited for the FIA hill climbs around here  but I don’t think I’d get it past the boss. I’ve previously sneaked two Elise’s in the garage in the Manchester but she likes to park her Kuga in the garage over here when it’s -20c in winter.

Different car to the one you saw Wes, that one got sold last year. This is the sister LHD car I had from Lotus (with a UK reg doc, unlike the old one).

Yes it is a shame its being sold as I’m very happy how the car turned out, I just kept it clean and simple, yet it is still a very fast car. The couple of days I’ve had it out at Croft were just on the std Elise yoko road tyres (ad07/8?) and I was still lapping most people within the 20 minute sessions!!

The 2-11 GT4 factory code has been dyno’d to death what with the CUP racing.

Output will be approx 285hp at the flywheel.

Gav, did this car ever sell?

no, i sold the other ‘un-registered’ one.

It’s still for sale if you want it?

A friend of mine is thinking about buying a track car that he can use on the road. He tried a Caterham at Donington last week and loved it.

I’ll show him this…

The car is currently in bits in the workshop, I say bits, its not all that bad. The main chunk is all there and present, it needs a few weekends spending on it.

Main thing is it needs a new rear Elise clam and engine cover cutting out, meshing up and a giving a lick of paint like what you see above. I have one here to do, just not got round to doing it yet.

The rear clam it had on above I removed and fitted to the un-registered chassis track car I was building. It had been cut and modified to allow for a quick fill dump churn system that proved to be an absolute nightmare at a regular petrol pump. I was having to fill cans then go home and fill the dump chugs just to get some fuel in it… The new rear clam I have for it will use the std fuel fill hole!!

I’ve also taken a few other bits and bobs off in order to complete the track car last year. Stupid little bits really, one of the front wheel arch liners, the lightweight race battery and cage, front under tray, uprated fuel pump. I have a list here, its all small stuff and not much more than I’ve already listed, the main bits detailed in the advert above are all still bolted to the car (minus the CR box which has been removed).

If he’s up for a bit of a bodywork project I can sell it at a very good price to take it away ‘as is’. Or I’m willing to finish the job for someone interested but would want a big enough deposit to cover all the bits needed to finish and the paintwork required, (obviously I’d agree a time frame that the work would take place in on securing a deposit)

There is also a golden opportunity to convert it to a 2010 Exige at this stage if someone desired using jonnyboys front clam kit…

Take it away today price = £20k
