Had a really good Anglesey event…I’m now getting into the S2 and LOVE the power
BUT gear selection is iffy as neutral seems to appear rather too often at critical times IE Rocket … not good. .
Have been reading about the LETSLA system and old posts on here seem positive (2nd generation)
I fitted one when I was suffering with grinding when changing down into second and occasionally up into 3rd. In addition to the yellow gearbox mounts and MT90 oil it completely cured the 3rd gear grind. Sadly the 2nd gear grind was the synchromesh and needed another gearbox anyway.
I now have a very nice short shift gear change which I can adjust on both the crossgate and throw. Which element had the most effect is hard to say as they were all done at the same time.
Point to note is that the letsla will only fit standard type cables at the gearbox end apparently.
The other point to note (and this is only what Ive read on the paperwork that came with it) is that on the Generation 2 Letsla, you can either shorten the throw or keep it standard.
I got one fitted a few month ago by the guys at RMS having already done MT90 and eliseparts engine mounts. Not counting the shorter throw (which I love) I think it’s the first 2 which made the most difference. Certainly feels less rubbery after the LETSLA but it still hasnt cured the amount the stick can wobble without any resistance. Definitely worth it but a bit pricey if you’re not willing (or able) to fit it yourself
