Had my new Exige for a week today and have jsut noticed that there are 2 LED’s out in each rear light. Is there a limit on how many can be out before it is illegal? I assume that it will be covered by warranty but at this rate I would be back at the dealers every month.

My car had more than half the led’s out at mot time…it passed
The lights were later replaced under warranty.
Sounds like there is a real issue with Lotus and LED lights. I’m now waiting for a third replacement (under warranty) in less than 1000 miles!

had the same thing happen to me,but next day they were ok ???
Latest update: More pairs failed, now on both sides. Dealer has parts on back order with no time scale but confirms that there is an issue with LED lights.
Supplying me with temporary set of old style bulb based lights until the issue is resolved.
Doesn’t sound too good but at least the dealer is offering a solution and not passing the buck.
