No it’s the led rings am on about ade, similar to the ones that were on the earlier bmw’s.
It’s a personal observation but I think aftermarket LED’s on the front of a car look proper nasty. Audi’s, BMW’s from new, all good but…nope just looks a bit Barry boy.
Yeah I agree mr fox, but the ones I saw on e-bay dint look to bad but no doubt on closer inspection they would look shit.
Ah know the ones you mean, they actually don’t look bad in the pictures, but you need to see them on to really know what they would be like
I wouldn’t do it. It’ll just look like you’re trying to imitate the BMW, not a good look.
The honest question you really need to ask yourself is:
Have you ever seen some aftermarket lights, Day Running Lights, Halo rings etc that actually look good? Or have you thought that they just look a bit naff and draw the unwanted kind of attention.
The standard lights on the Exige are visually sound, they follow the contours of the body and are not too fussy in design or appearance.
I wouldn’t want to influence your decision but I wouldn’t want you to regret it if you fit them and then didn’t like the results.
…although a set of white ones around the dip beam and amber ones around the mains, which could also flash, with your ever friendly paint shop to eliminate the current indicators (which are forever popping out)…could, IMHO, give you the best styling elements of the old S2 Exige front clam and the best from the new Elise clam.
…although this is an American Elise that took this approach…I do love those smooth lines (quite a lot of dosh just to get smoother lines though!!)…and I am also not sure about the colour coded light assembly…
I’ve got some sat here on my desk and haven’t got round to trial fitting them yet. If I get round to it over Christmas I’ll let you know.
