Hi all,The Lotus Drivers’ Club is organising An Introduction to Sprinting at Curborough (Midlands) on Thu 13 Jun 2002.The entry fee is a mere �42 and the maximum entry will be 35 cars so you will get plenty of track time, on your own and able to explore the limits (if you want to!). Shenstone & District Car Club ( Curborough owners ) and my club by the way …Are organising an introduction to sprinting day on 2nd June … and its free !!Ok you only get a couple of runs in your own car but its a good way to see if you want to take it further … HTH

Miniman,OK. That’s blown that then! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/frown.gif[/image]I guess that’s the advantage of owning your own track - you don’t have to pay any hire fees! Curborough is a great little track though and Shenstone and District CC do a great job. And �42 is still cheap for a full day of motor sport activity.Mike

MikeYour right ! - if you get some track time ( and with only 35 cars you will !! ) the Curborough course is a great way to get to know your car ! - It looks easy … but as a few will tell you its not [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image] or [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/frown.gif[/image] depending on how far off you went.)I’m there on the 2nd giving rides … but I’m used to a 150 hp Mini so the Exige will be er… different.

Andrew,Do you want another Exige for the day? I’ve not driven Curborough in anger but I have run meetings there. I have an Exige and a current MSA race licence and - believe it or not - I can’t go to the LDC day on the 13th because I’ll be at Le Mans!
