Larini Exhaust: 1st pics

Dave from Larini sent me pics of the test exhaust attached to an exige. Could be another 3 weeks till delivery. How do I upload onto the forum?

You can email them to me ([email protected]) and I’ll host 'em and stick them up

Any idea on the cost yet ?

Got a price of 350.00 + 13.50 delivery + VAT

I’ve sent you the pics.

Or 350(something) inc VAT from Moto-build + Dev. Although their warranty is a no quibble 6 years, from Larini it is apparently lifetime but needing annual checks.

Apparently the test car is going to Le Mans so that should give the pipe a good test…when are moto-build promising to fit your pipe Ian?

OK here’s the pics, looks rather sexy What it like volumewise???

What does it look like ‘inside’…

Any pics of the whole thing, or specs on the diameter etc ?

Very clean car, you can make out the number plate by the reflection

Supposed to be quiet enough for trackdays but sounding lovely!

Rooney, I understand that Larini are waiting for the car to return from Le Mans before they can make up our exhausts.

Do we know who’s car this is? Are they back yet? Do they like it?

Ian

There was a New Aluminium Exige in the Karting Nord campsite (see my Le Mans 2004 thread in exige chat in my quest to find the owner)

Looks similar to the Powerspeed one but shiny

Differences - is it re-packable ? and you got a nicer finish

Not repackable, because it takes the baffle approach, therefore doesn’t need to be. Admitedly not quite as pure as Powerspeed’s straight-through approach but that apparently needs to be re-stuffed every 7/8000 miles.

Yep … how many miles a year do you do ?

Not enough!

I know the feeling - 8 wks and no drive
