Following Tony’s post, there appears to be quite a following for this cat amongst Exige owners (wonder why!) so I have copied this off the Telegraph motoring section:“Devils rock(Filed: 04/08/2001) As well as the British round of the FIA Sportscar Racing Championship, Donington Park will also play host to the Lamborghini GTR Supertrophy on August 25 and 26.The grid of 600bhp, V12 Lamborghini Diablo GTRs is arguably the most exclusive and potentially the fastest one-make series in the world. Normally this sort of racing tends to attract rich but not terribly good drivers, but the one British runner in the series, Lee Cunningham, a test driver for Lamborghini London who drives for the MRi team, assures us that competition at the front of the pack is hot.For more information, call Donington Park Leisure on 01332 810048.”

Sue and I will be there with Lamborghini Club UK as we’re sponsoring Lee’s car! Lee’s hoping to take the lead in the championship that weekend, and stands a good chance of doing so, so they should be exciting races. We have full hospitality laid on in a private box near Redgate, and usually get to go into the teams’ pits to get up close with the cars. Although it’s meant to be LCUK members only, if anyone would really like to go let me know and I see what I can do, although obviously I can’t promise anything.Steve thanks for the original posting, but I should point out that they’re bulls, not cats!
