Not wishing to steal your idea mate, but we could also have an in between meet on Sun 18th Aug? It is the Cumbria Classic car Show at Dalemain House, between Penrith and Pooley Bridge, so handy for a trip to Ullswater and some nosh maybe?
Iām not suggesting this to replace Peteās idea, just something else to consider. What do you think folks?

Right, boys, hope Dalmain was good., Tatton Park was packed. Best car Lancia Stratos in San Remo rally trim with M.Alenās name on the door. It looked original but no-one there to ask.

The car of the show (officially, not my view) was a green DB5 without bumpers. Looked good though.
I think the 15th will be the best. Wondering if it might be a good idea to have the meet at Cark-in-Cartmel, there is a large car park next to the race course and some nice nosebag places haha.

Ah, Cartmel. Perfect. We could try Simon Roganās ācheaperā eating place in the town centre (saving Lāenclume round the corner until we all win the lottery).
Letās hope we can all make the 15th as it will coincide nicely with a meet later the same day with my cousin in the Lakes.
Ok meet still on at Cartmel, just make your way to the pay and display car park near to the racecourse. I should be there for 10.30am this Sunday the 15th September.
