A most enjoyable morning - thanks chaps
Looks like the weather wasn’t too bad either
It was lovely, Steve - we sat outside for about an hour enjoying the sunshine - excellent cafe.
Great place to meet up http://www.lakelandmotormuseum.co.uk/
Passed that a few times but never stopped for a visit - is it worth the look around inside?
Well worth a visit Steve, as is the adjacent “Campbell Musuem”. Probably 2 to 2.5 hours required to see the exhibits & enjoy a brew from the cafe (terrace overlooking the river).
Pics from terrace this morning taken with phone camera
I do love that green car (not that the others aren’t great either).
Thanks IDG, its great to drive too having performance, sports and touring packs +260 upgrade(i am very lucky to be able to own it)
I’m with Ian that green is really distinctive and suits the S2, cracking looking car
Yep, lovely car, for sure
Indeed Rob. Still loving the gravymobile too The stripes on mine will go this year but I will be staying black and white…
Great day out, chaps. And it’s true, the more you see of Mr P’s car the better it looks!
Thanks also to you Pete for joining Pesky in supporting my charity cycle ride.
I drove past on the M6 this morning on my way back down from the Upper Clyde Valley, home of the VSCC Scottish Trial. If I’d known…
Shame, it would have been good to meet up. It is great museum and a lovely location.
PS: to my fellow coffee drinkers, I got the fence painted and watched the footy!
Good man Steve job sorted.
Hows about another meet at the Motor Museum first and then a run over to watch Barbon Hill climb on the 12th May.
Me too Mike, drove up via the Lyth Valley in the morning so was only about 5 miles away
Sorry Mike/Steve - my fault, as it was a late night decision on Sat night after looking at the weather forecast.
I don’t know what is worse…
Me never turning up, or
You not inviting folks?
