Lack of juicy posts/threads

As the title says - not enough juicy or controversial posts or threads at the moment - is the time of year, good will to all men etc etc etc

Come on guys lets get some banter going !!! How about I start

 1. THINGS I HAVE’NT TOLD MY WIFE !!!

Have you bought another race suit

I never confessed that for the last two year the Exige spent most of its time in the workshop …

Yeah - a xmas specific one, all in red

I don’t have a wife… solves that issue. Means the 25,000 I’ve spent on the Exige this past couple of years needs to be justified only to myself :stuck_out_tongue:

Wish that kind of money had me getting close to the state of perfection of our NZ friend’s car  Must try harder…

Oh… Don’t expect to get a wife before car’s in running order (nevermind, already have 2 wonderful children)

Surely that is including the car? :astonished:

I’ve never told Jacqui how much I have spent, however I do suspect she is bright enough to work it out, her usual comments go along the line of.
Is that the 6th or 7th exhaust? or

Off to Sinclaires again?

On the Celica club there was a topic on there, it went along the lines of “should I buy my G/F something like flowers everytime I spend money on my car?” Apparently Jacqui’s response was " if Adrian bought me flowers relative to the amount he has spent on the Exige I would own the flower shop by now"
Therefore I suspect she knows

Oh no babe I’m not going to Nurburg with BaT this year

Surely that is including the car? :astonished:
Some how I think the answer will be no… read the rebuild threads, but please hide your wallet at the same time!! its cost me a small fortune already

Chris buy a boat, then your wife will ask why you dont have more cars and spend more on your Exige !!!

Surely that is including the car? :astonished:
I did read them. I’m in the same situation as George but I’m not spending 25k on my 16.5k car. Im spending enough though.

Il post an update to my thread soon enough

Not including the purchase of the car.

Engine work cost about 10k all up. The ECU, datalogging/display gear and vehicle wiring has cost over 10k on its own. Gearbox cost about 3k, Suspension about 1.5k, and that’s before you look at all the little bits and pieces, that all add up to crazy amounts.

That doesn’t include over 1500 of my own hours billed out at zero. Doing everything to a very high standard costs lot of money.

458 Italia before the boat !!!
