Laboratory for converted car???

Hopefully I will be allowed to do the Honda Conversion soon. (looks like I have convinced the Authorities after 2 years)… But due to the weather I think I have to wait until next spring.

My conversion will unfortunately be a bit complicated, and will include Euro Emission Laboratory test (2 days) and Drive-by Noise test (not static)… The ï¿½best and onlyï¿½ ? place to do this looks to be Millbrook Proving Ground Ltd

If I fail any of these tests I WONT get the car approved.

Before I can decide when, where and how, I need to decide where I will to go for these tests, if anyone knows about another Laboratory which can perform both tests. Please let me know (The closer it is to Newcastle the better)ï¿½

If not I just have to use Millbrook

We’ve had some poor work by Millbrook recently and have had much better service from Mira. Why do you need a full cert for a car in the UK? Is it going abroad?

About the workï¿½ it really doesnï¿½t matter for me, as long the car will pass Euro 2 emission and Noise regulation tests. But if you think they are ï¿½difficult to deal withï¿½ and it will be harder to pass these test at Millbrook, it matters of course–

Does Mira do both tests? Do you have a link to them?

Don’t Lotus do some of these tests themselves, or at least use the Lotus Engineering division? They could maybe also do yours and I’m sure they woulfd be interested in the results.
