Kuhmo ecsta's on the rear..

had a good blast today with the Kuhmo’s…

Very very different to the AO 48’s…
Maybe they’ll scrub in some but they will never be a “sticky” tyre like the Yoko’s…

They were all too ready to light on the shift from 1st to 2nd gear … even when warm…

Also the car is very oversteer’y at the moment …not complaining though, it’s a lot of fun.

More everyday maybe weekends in MickyD’s but not track then mate

Time to video a few more ‘Donuts’ then John!

I fitted Toyo T1-R’s all round to mine recently (only use it on the road) and once I got used to the lack of firmness generated by the AO48’s, the car is much more fun as it “lets go” progressively at much lower speeds (although probably still too high for the road?).

My T1rs lasted all of 3k miles Mainly due to 2 Walshy days and 5 activity days at North Weald. The middle of the tyre is like new , just the edges down to slicks.

All in the name of fun though.

My sentiments entirely !
For road use that is
