Just congfigured as basic a jobbie as possible (via KTM website), & it comes to 52762
A fully kitted out version is a tad over of 80K.
Personally I think they look pig ugly too, although they are indeed beautifully engineered, & have proved to be very quick in Euro GT4 Series this year.
Although they’re not for me (even if I could afford one, which I certainly will never be able to), great to see them being produced, & thumbs up to those buying them.
Sorry for the non Lotus content, just having a Friday ramble
Looks great in the flesh but not as nice as an Atom!..which you would really, wouldn’t you ?
Interesting that - I think the Crossbow looks worse in the flesh than in pics - extremely well engineered, but just looks wrong to me. I would be totally pissed off if I found an Atom in my garage, as again I just don’t like the look of them.
I do however like the looks of the Caterham (I also love the look of the Morgan Aero models!)
Funny old world, but it’s truely fantastic that we have the opportunity to see/buy different motas, & can have our own personal views on them
PS No personal offence against any owners of KTMs/Atoms meant at all, as I’m not offended when anyone says they wouldn’t be seen dead in my cars (which does happen!)
Hoping it’s not going to affect my 2009 trackday season.
I suppose that depends what you had in mind, in the first place! You’re right though, whilst family will come first, make sure that you get some time to keep your own batteries charged. May be a difficult balancing act, but get it right & everyone will be happy
Would like to drive a KTM before passing judgement but all reports so far are not great. I have driven Andy’s Atom and it is hugely fun and very involving.
