Looking into Komo Tec intercooler conversion for my Exige S (www.komo-tec.com) however search not revealling much. Any help other than website information appreciated especially from anyone who has had work done by them on their car.

I keep looking for UK based tuners for my S there seems to be a lot of people tuning them in the US or europe can’t see why there isn’t anyone in the UK yet.
I think the Komo Tec route is expensive for what you get, there must be something cheaper out there?
yeah im finding the same. I have an Exige S and money to spend on it for tuning and yet theres no-one in england that wants my money to tune it. Surely if lotus can get 255bhp out of the same engine and smilar charger then a tuner could. So er yeah tuners take note and bring something out so we can give you our money lol.
IMO Komo Tec kit is reasonable value for money IF IT IS ANY GOOD ! Cost c.3000 euro to take car from 220 to 250 bhp. Now being supplied/installed by Hangar 111. As I post I am awaiting their costs to compare with having the work carried out in Germany however my main concerns are reliability/warranty/performance hence I would like to hear from anyone who has installed.

I would stick with Lotus at this point in the S development. Lotus already get 255 from the 2007 cup, why go to a tuner???
Red in Germany will take an S up to Cup 255 spec (using all Lotus parts and map) including a new roof with big intake for 3000 euro…

From a friend of mine who bought his car there. Maybe it was a “special” for a valued customer…
In theory it costs the cup dealer nothing for the map, they have it anyway. Lets assume the car gets new jets and new pulleys…not sure what they would cost fitted but it cannot be more than a 1,000 euro. Then 2,000 euro for a Carbon roof. Its possible, especially if its a discounted price for a valued customer. But i do not know for sure, just what i was told.
The intercooler is also different on the Cup 255 so that will need changing as well!
Not necessarily. Based on the efficiency of the intercooler the ecu will optimize the map. It does this anyway depending on weather etc.
