Regardless of what one may think about banning Simon Erland from the forum, or the harshness of removing only his side of the past arguments, what concerns me is that there was a considerable body of technical information contained in his posting history. While Dave and others have been keen to point out flaws in what he posted, I doubt even they would suggest that there was not even a grain of truth or useful information contained in them, and I have certainly gained some valuable knowledge from following the discussions. Would you be willing to consider restoring them? Nobody has to re-read them unless they want to.

As for “hear your people” I am… I’ve received far more PMs saying it was the right thing than the wrong thing… what you see publicly doesn’t always reflect wider sentiments. Given Jonny + Uldis have been involved with Simon, their comments are to be expected.
I’d like to think this wasn’t the only forum he posted on and I’m sure his knowledge is still available in other places.
If anyone would care to tell me where else he posts I’d be more than glad to provide links.
Besides… I don’t think there are any K-series Exiges left !!
