I was going to do the LMA round at Donnington at the start of November, but they have a full grid and 22 reserves already!!!

I saw the results a couple of days ago (can’t find them now though) - Steve had qualified in pole, but didn’t appear on the “amended grid”, or in the results. I’d heard over last weekend, that there were “rumblings” about his car, but can’t say much more, as I’m not sure of the facts, mate, hence my original post.

My supercharger pulley disintegrated exiting the devils elbow and I didn’t have a spare. Not a bad lap time though considering I only did seven laps!
Not aware of anyone moaning about the pace of my car in the LMA. Class A is full of 500-600hp machinery so they haven’t much to complain about with my humble 350’ish.

Stick an entry in anyway you’ll probably get a race as quite a few are likely to drop out. Will be good to get a few more exiges in there. With the rumoured demise of elise trophy class C the LMA would welcome them I reckon.

Seriously I think the LMA would be a good home for the s/c exiges. Its one of the BRSCC’s top series, massive grids, full championship status, very professionally run and no politics or back biting that I’ve seen.

The only real reg is that if your car is over 1500cc then it has to weigh at least 650KG’s! Now those are my kinda regs!!!
I think it’s 675kg Sean I can’t find a reference to 650kg in the LMA regs.
Fair enough. Don’t think having a 6 st the front will be something me or Chris has to worry about anyway. I do reckon I can get mine to pretty low 7’s though.
You guys would be welcomed in to Class A of the BARC Northwest Championship that I race in too.
You could be 500kg in that! - but you would be up against carbon braked DTM Astra’s and Spaceframe specials with 16" wide slicks on…I’m not kidding! Being outbraked or out gripped is very unusual at first in an Elise
