The ice man cometh - again !!!
I like Kimi - he doesn’t take F1 too seriously which I think is cool

I thought Lotus were keeping both of their current drivers?
no shame about bruno also he was really coming in to his own.
however the lure of a former world champion and all that
eric bouiller is quoted as saying the first of several announcements concerning lotus f1 for next year
not keen on petrov but again money matters with sponsors
oh well
Not a Kimi fan myself. He has ZERO personality in my opinion.
Zero personality ??? The man likes lap dancing clubs and hookers (allegedly) off track and on track drives like a man possessed when he’s in the mood.
I’ve watched some of the rally interviews and he is much more human than he came across in F1
No way, it’ll be mint!! More interviews like the one in Brazil, when he said to Brundle on the live gridwalk ‘no I missed that, I was going for a shit!’ No personality, pah!!!
Sorry, but I’m not a fan.
Same here
Exactly what I meant. Kimi says it like it is which is rare in F1
I find that a lot of scandinavian drivers when interviewed in english comed across as ‘cold’
Look back at Hakkinen and Salo and you’ll see what I mean
What we really need is either of the Solberg’s to race in F1!!! They are proper nutters!!! Either win, or smash it into teeny tiny pieces!
yeah but Petter Solberg’s car would be plastered with whatever sponsers he could find no matter how small or crap
I mean have you ever heard of TOOLS - can you imagine that on the side of an F1 car !!!
NO, but I know quite a few of them!!
Not much of a fan either, but if he is not so constrained by the corporate big wig he might actually come across rather better
No personality eh ???
I think Sean hates everyone today !!!
Same here [/quote]
Agreed , personality of a dead cod IMHO
i like him tbh, saw an old top gear recently with him and james may. he was quite dry with an evil glint in his eye.
big name to have on a teams books…look at the experience he brings to the table…
I like him - not a manufactured media savvy drone like most of the current crop of F1 drivers.
No great loss for the WRC. He really struggled to find the pace, even in the fastest car.
It’s more complicated than going round and round
