Pesky, you nutter…

HKKOTR "Help keep keenan on the road system"As for track days you will see me there ether on a bike or in some other track car. Pesky you chopper. I’me 6 ft tall. “HJ” in the ci? Naaaa! However there is a nice little grab rail/spoiler on the boot lid:PKee [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]

Nice car Keenan - I drive one of those strange looking M Coupes,Often wonder what the Exige would be like with its 321 bhp engine and gearbox installed. Voila - mini McLaren F1!As most will know, the F1’s engine is basically two BMW M engine joined together. [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]330ci - weird that they put “i” in the model badging though, unlikely to be breathing through twin Dellorto’s nowadays! Must admit that when I was thinking about changing my EVO V1 last December, I had a shortlist of two cars…the Exige & an M Coupe! The latter is the only Beemer that I would seriously consider for my personal use, but now I’m glad that I chose the Exige [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] (In fact spotted a silver M Coupe this very morning, whilst being dragged round the local garden centre earning brownie points, for the two scheduled track days in October).

Hey Pesky, the Evo VI was the only other car on my short-list when I recently bought the M Coupe (two months ago) - replaceda Clio Williams.I bought the M Coupe in the end because it seemed like a more fun proposition with 321 bhp, RWD and no traction control. [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]Still considering buying an Evo VI next time around - well either that or an early 993 Turbo/Noble GTO if I can scrape the moneytogether. Thanks for the GT1 mail BTW - can’t access it at the mo. thoughso I’ll just need to imagine it! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]Cheers - Al

FWIW Ive got a big M Coupe, but its called a 5-Series Touring! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] When I bought it I just missed (by a couple of hours) an M5 Touring, which I never new existed, but apparently they did a very limited edition run of these animals. Damn!

For what it’s worth, I followed a 320ci into work today, looks veeeeeery nice. Equally businesslike and sporty in posture, and it sure as heck moved when it wanted to [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]Looks like a fine choice, Keenan!

Picked up the BMW yesterday. What a punchy little car! This has to be on of the most underated cars of all time. The comfort is fantastic. The toys are super and practical and the growl that comes out of the twin tail pipes.Sorry! lost it for a bit there. No seriously its very very naughty!Kee [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]

Dont want to upset you at all keenan but a six month waiting time for a 330CI Sport - dont think so, 3 months tops.PS I have an M3 on order so agree for the price the 330 is a good option. Not anywhere as fun as the Exige though for all out performance !!!

Nice to see you’re running it in gently Kee! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]

Interesting I also do something similiar with regards to imports and new vehicles although my ones tend only to be sports cars. Yes I am a bit of a speculator although the M3 is for me. Is this your own business ? Gary
