K Specialists.

Gents,

I’m about to re-enter the world of the K Series engine and as I’m well aware of the potential fragility of the “time bomb” that is the K, I wonder what specialists are out there to help rebuild them? I’ll edit the list as more names are flagged up as I’m sure this list will be useful and there will be a need to refer back to this thread. I sincerely hope I’m not setting up a copy of a thread that already exists, but the PC I’m working from is incredibly slow.

Please feel free to post details of your experiences (good or bad), but please don’t leave yourself open to legal action from the companies concerned.

In no particular order:

1, DVA Power (Dave Andrews)
2, Scholar
3, QED
4, kiwirog - Sabre-Heads
5, Vincente - VGK Racing
6, Simon Erland

Over to you…

Cheers,
Kurt

I’ve experienced DVAs work alot and also some of Scholar’s and VGKs components through Dave, he is hugely informative and helpful.

Simon Erland

Shall I play a little music

Each of the above named have their champions

Speak to Peter at PEC he does David Harvey’s, which is now reliable and realy quick !

Oh No! Run for cover… Do not look at this thread again. You have been warned.

He’s still (or was a week ago) on Scottish Elises…same old, same old  “The Book” doesn’t appear to have materialised yet - only 6 years late

I managed to get a whole engine and it was very nice…until the car was destroyed a few days later

So did Sean, but it wasn’t. However, it was all Sean’s fault, being a pikey & all that

PS Chris - you’re sourcing some very nice Caterhams of late…keep me in the loop

so this guy works for a living ? what does he do ?
… oh he’s a “writer” fiction sells better i think

Good to know for a list of specialists.
