K-series vernier pulley wanted..

Im after a single vernier pulley for my VVC, let me know if you have one i can buy.

May buy a pair if you dont want to split.

Thanks.

If they are the same as the ones on the standard K then I should have a couple from when I fitted my piper pullies.

Its standard K-series fitment…

Is it an ajustable vernier pulley you have yes?

Gary.

The standard K-series ones are not adjustable, which is why I changed to the pipers.

I know this, a vernier pulley (which im advertising for) is adjustable and is what your Piper ones will be!

A standard pulley is no use.

Gaz,

DO NOT FIT a regular vernier to a VVC exhaust cam, the stock pulley has a metalastic absorber built in to reduce belt train resonanaces/problems, without it you could shed the belt.

Use offset dowels instead.

Bear in mind that when you change the angle of the xhaust cam, you also alter the rear VVC mech that serves cylinder 3 & 4 on the inlet side.

Dave

Hi Dave, ok thanks for that!

So when doing the cam timing by lift at TDC, would i need to elongate the rear inlet pulley aswell and do lift at TDC for cyl 3+4 seperately once the front inlet cam and exhaust cam lift has been set?

Thanks for the advice.
