k series and the lot series

just wondering were the amazing k series engines have gone - the lot series is 3/4 over but no sign of anything interesting.

strange that kingk was beating all commers 4 years ago apparently buty now its all very quiet . . . . .

even angelo has given up

Inflamatory C**P! Nothing more tha a personal attack on two separate people and should be consigned directly to the muppet show… How disappointing

Come on. Surely it is about time for some real answers? There are people out there waitng to see these things with money in their hands.

This is exiges.com, not SELOC - take it over there for F***s sake.

Sorry, thought we were discussing engine that were of interest to Exige owners and extensively discussed and promoted on this forum in the past. Just looking for up to date info.

Bollox.

Well, every week I receive enquiries from people wanting to upgrade their engines. They often ask me what I think of KingK engines. At the moment I have to say I think he is a snake oil salesman and warn them to hold onto their money. If something has changed then lets hear about it.

Yes I agree. I would also like to see what options a reliable k might open up. I am undicided if I want to tune the K or throw in another engine so some info would be welcome.

What is your job (if you don’t mind me asking)?

I run a large metal manufacturing company and sell Honda conversions.

That is good for you Dave (especially the “large” bit)
Do you also improve the K Series?

Only by throwing it out.

What I would say about the series is that none of the online conflict seems to exist between the competitors. The spirit in which it has been conducted has for the most part been exemplary.

I am as happy to see Sean do well as to see Russ going well. That one has a honda and the other an Erland engine is immaterial. Top blokes dueling in a sport I love watching and participating in.

Exactly - no [censored] stirring is good.

Russ,
I agree with the others and would like to hear about any updates on the K-series front.
Since I’m still thrashing my K at the track on a regular basis and will require a refresh or an entire engine swap sooner or later I would like to know all the options.

Keep the K, its the future

I’m actually very happy with my K.
I just completed seven track days in the last 2 weeks without any issues. The S1 is a dead heat against a few Exige S’s and one 240 cup I was up against this past week in a straight line. I then proceed to lose then in the corners.
I think I only used maybe a quart of oil the whole time and think most of that weeped from cooler lines and the front pump seal.
Everyone here in the US loves and is a bit jealous of the S1.
