I still love mine, but would probably go for KG or white next time, but think it looks great in all colours.

The reason I personally didn’t go with any of the “loud” colours, is because the black wing gets lost. As a result, it looks a lot like a Exige without a wing (Meh). Only when you look at it, do you see the black wing at the back.
A black Exige of course solves this, as the wing and the rest of the car looks as one. But then the contrast to the black parts are lost…
Best compromise I’ve found were the colours somewhere inbetween loud and black, i.e. Graphite Grey, Blue, red etc.
If I were to consider one of the loud colours, I think I would want the wing to be painted in the colour of the car.
Krypton Green looks stunning though. No pictures do it justice.
What is there to deal with ! You pays your money and takes your choice which is fine. I am not the one that said my (and many other peoples) colour choice was bland ! Specially as a Newbie looking for help/Advice.
I recomend a famous book by Dale Carnegie. Judging by your answer you will have to look that one up !

There’s also a book by Dr. John Gray that I think you should read Ex77
i like white a lot …looks really cool even tho i have a laser blue one lol

Hi Southampton,

Jeeezzzz enough is enough, come on guys. Now i know i have not been here that long and i dont post huge amounts but in my experience this has always been a very friendly forum, lets keep it that way.
I have a storm titanium S2 when compared to krypton green or chrome orange, to be frank, it is bland. Doesn’t mean i dont love it because i do. at the end of the day its an Exige - they all look fantastic.
Jeeezzzz enough is enough . . . at the end of the day its an Exige - they all look fantastic.
And they all go the same
I used to own a (black) VX turbo, good car, but nowhere near as much fun as the Exige. Personally I prefer the throttle response of an NA car, and the power delivery is a lot more linear (and no huge gaping holes in the torque curve either). Yes, it doesn’t have anything like the torque of the VXT, but that’s not a problem as the gearbox is much nicer to use than the VX’s.
On road I find the Exige inspires more confidence, on track it’s a lot faster. It’s also screwed together a lot better than the VX, and the interior feels a lot more special too. Don’t think I would go back now

[Edit]Just realised, my first post, been a long-time lurker. Hello all!
the gearbox is much nicer to use than the VX’s.
Can’t agree with that my old VX had a foolproof box you could really wham the changes home with a positive, riflebolt-like action. In comparison, the Exige gate is very narrow and not at all clearly defined, IMO. At any rate, I managed to blow my Exige engine because of selecting 2nd gear instead of 4th. Got it back yesterday with my wallet 11k lighter and I still am not too sure I won’t do it again…
Mustn’t let the missus see this . . .11,000. Phew
That included 2 new rear Yokos, pads and refurbishing of wheels if that helps still was steep though!
I still love mine
How come you put it up for sale the same day you wrote the above? Used cars for sale - PistonHeads UK
well my 2c - i had a magnetic blue Exige and can confirm it IS a bland colour… except at night, when it is positively stunning… search my posts to see what I mean (looks almost purple at night)
i now have a graphite Exige S and am very happy with the colour, although that can hardly be described as exciting on the eyes either!
apologies for size
this IS a magnetic blue car
