JSR Rocks!

Just got my car back from John and Wayne at JSR following my oil leak at Donny that cut my day short!

JSR rocks!!! They replaced the faulty oil filter ‘sandwich plate’ and oil hose crush washers with a really solid (and pressure tested) bit of kit.

I think this would be a good idea for all Exige S2’s to replace this sandwich plate as the stock unit washer is soft ally with a rather thin rubber seal. This seal had gradually eroder in my car and began to leak very slowly, but soon rapidly with hot track day oil! Could have been very terminal!

AT the same time, I thought prevention is better than cure, so they also insalled an ‘Accusump’, replaced the gearbox oil with MT90 and replaced the engine mounts with ‘powerflex’ units from ‘Seriously Lotus’ (best price out there!)

SO nice to have the car back and enjoyed a great drive home!

Thx to Johnny Fox and Sean B for the recommendations for JSR. I am very impressed with not only their work but also their very fair pricing too!

If you need anything sorting, give John a call guys.

CHeers,

Pete

That reminds me I need to change my sump as well when the car goes in November…if John is lisening out there somewhere!

John is always listening if it sounds like work

Plus Sean B would always recommend JS Racing, what do you think the “S” stands for

Anyway you are correct top place and good prices

Shorrocks?

That’ll be a gold star to Ben then!!

Yes, am always listening, even when work isn’t involved

Always presumed the S was for Sean…

Oh well back to the sin bin

S is for Shorrocks and Shandy and Strippers and Soft and Southern and Smelly and lots of other stuff that directly relates to John!!

hahahaha

Easy gin and tonic boy!!

LOL at Sean

Serious post for a minute - on a Virgin train out of the big smoke

Thanks to John @ JSR for the work on my car this week.

Went in on Monday for fluids and TRD and we discovered a damaged S/C actuator - so made a makeshift one to get me home which honestly looked better put together than the poxy Lotus one.
New part ordered Tuesday, fitted in 20mins (al a F1 stylee pit stop) on Wednesday

Great service once again - and if Mr Pesky is watching I’m still considering the 46mm Ohlins !!!

Wouldn’t you be better off getting a racesuit?

LMAO I knew you’d be watching !!! :astonished:

Katy Perry?

Imogen Smythe?

What eh - Katy Perry’s watching ???

He has a race suit, well when I say race suit, it is so shinny white it would not have looked out of place in the YMCA video

Luv the banter… more like it eh!!!
