After enjoying a bit of TLC at JSRacing my car is back and in rude health
I’m waiting until it’s been out on track to say my brakes woes are over but right now the brakes feel awesome.
Thanks to John at JSRacing really top job, thanks matey!
Great to have it back and spin out to the Goodwood Breakfast Club this morning. Amongst some serious metal the S1 can certainly hold its own and was attracting quite a bit of attention. There was only one other S1 (Mark I think).

Yeah yeah yeah. Whilst at JSR John arranged for the wheels to be refinished at Rimstock where they get effectively remanufactured - they look mint and it’s highly recommended if you’ve got some tired Rimstocks. Yes I kept them white and yes they were grey within about 5mins
With respect to the brakes John has :
Fitted a different set of rear calipers kindly provided by AndyD (my old ones are being refurbed Andy to replenish your garage - thanks also to Ian/Stan for liberating them from Andy’s storage facility).
Mod the front calipers to feed brake line into the middle to aid bleeding
304mm Front Rotors (the 295s were almost dead)
Fresh PF pads all round
Fresh fluid and the bleed of all bleeds…think…nah let’s not go there
All done with care and attention and so far it feels fantastic. Before they felt so spongy and shite now the pedal feel is like compressing a tennis ball if that makes sense…perfect. If it stays like that on circuit I might give John a kiss
[quote=Benja]Here is the link to the Rimstock refurb service clicky - they really do look like new wheels now - well they did before I drove off

Also meant to mention that I followed the car below back on the A3 - it was properly rapid as apparently it was packing a 5L TVR V8 and looked and sounded very neat…anyone seen it about before?
