Yeah, but the classic car mags have been doing reports on the S1 for a few years now. That fact alone signified their acknowledgment of its status.
are their any other cars of such a young vintage that also make classic status?
Any car that has been out of production for over 5 years can be insured as a classic car.
I’ll try that “it’s a classic” with Autotorque. They’ve been testing my patience a bit of late and it’s about time they got me a discount.
Got mine insured as a classic through Heritage (free trackdays too). Autotorque didn’t bother quoting or ringing back after several chasers.
