Spoke with that guy a few years ago ( think its the same one ) and he explained he had suffered overheating problems at the ring - he added the left hand scoop with a hose to direct cool the gearbox as that was a big issue for him.
Strange not to remove the plate then.

Whats the cooler under the rear wing? oil?
Is it me, or do the rears appear to have more negative camber than usual

Not really the car is in roll and the camber increases in suspension bump condition.
I personally think the car looks terrible, and there is no need for all the scoops etc, especially if it still has a VHPD in there, and as for the cooler on the rear clam With all the abuse my car has had, heat is one of the things that has never been a concern.

Fully agree! Apart from the terrible looks, the mods have not been fully thaught through. More or les like if you have leaks in a roof, putting lots of buckets underneath instead of sorting out the leaks…
Yeah that looks aweful. I especially hate the cooler under the rear wing. I wonder what made him put that there.
Everyone goes on about how over efficient the water cooling system is on an Exige, big rad with lots of flow, so why people don’t use the water / oil laminova oil coolers. They are small, neat and light and do exactly what they say on the tin!!
