Just signed up on here, I have been on Seloc for a few years.

I acquired my S1 Exige two or three weeks ago. Previously I had a Caterham R300 for about eight months and prior to that an S2 Elise, laterly with a Honda engine.

My Exige is pretty standard apart from a motorsport roof & engine cover and Willans harnesses. I am loving it! It doesn’t have the pace of my R300 or S2 Honda, but it looks and feels very, very special

I am sure I will have lots of dumb questions along the way, but for now here are the obligatory pictures.

No plans at the moment. I would actually like to try and keep it as standard as possible. It lacks the pace of the Honda, but I am currently quite enjoying the ‘character’ of the VHPD. The car will be used as a weekend and occasional track day toy with some sprinting thrown in for good measure - I will probably put 4 or 5k miles per year on it (it currently has 23k).

Completed the survey.

I don’t know anything about the history. I am the 5th owner. The car has a very comprehensive service history, with a stack of service bills. It has obviously been well looked after by it’s former keepers as it is in lovely condition. For an eight year old car, I couldn’t really ask for better

Escaper is Mark Ellis - probably driving a KTM Crossbow now/shortly. Don’t know if he still visits here (or Seloc).
