Surely a Forge one wouldnt put up your insurance…
Guess I will have to find an exige mod friendly insurance company that not try and skank me
Depends upon the insurer, & you’d be stupid (or worse) not to inform them.

! My sarcasm is wasted here !
Sometimes Mr P is just way too serious
Try the usual suspects Richard Eggar (REIS) etc.
my insurance is now cheaper with all the mods than it was when insured with Admiral.
Maybe they know how slow you are

Wasted on Uncle P, as Tim says he’s getting very serious in his old age and now driver training has been done to death he has found a new angle
Back to your point though as the forge looks very pretty there is no way the insurance would miss it, the MMG on the other hand looked like the pappy stock one so you should be good to go
Andy, you’re not seriously suggesting that anyone should mod a car & not tell the insurer? If you can’t afford the premium, don’t do the mod
Think of a worst case senario if you were to affected directly in some way by someone with a modded car who ‘failed’ to notify their insurance. Cover would be voided. What then?

I’m not sure if my sarcasm is wasted on you Tim or yours on me?
I’m still taking the tablets you know…
If it’s 8 a day, that’s 1 more than me!
Get it coated black !

This is my first Exige and i went with REIS. They (i think the lad was called Steve) told me if i modded the car i would pay roughly an extra 10% premium for ant initial mod’ but there would be no additional charge for further mod’s.
Its due in May, so I have time to do other approved mods while I look. I could jump ship now but its worth wasting a years no claims that I can transfer to my work car. They said the underwriter will not insure it with that mod because anything that effects a turbo or supercharger performance is void…
Mine are coated white. If they break before you take em it tastes fookin horrible

Did you tell them? If you did I have you to thank for my cheap insurance
