Intercooler (Forge) rubbing against engine cover

Posted this a while back on seloc but hve not got it sorted out yet.

The thing that is too high is the right hand side Engine-to-IC bracket (sheet metal piece).
That leads to three possibilities.

  1. Bracket is too tall. Seems stange as they made quite a few of these, but not impossible.
  2. Engine head casting and prep is not right. Not likely at all
  3. Valvecover should not be level but tilt slightly down to the right, which is then back ti engine mounts.

In the end I feel that alternative 1 is the most likely reason followed by alternative 2.
Is there anyone who could verify alt 1 for me?

Think I may have found an easy way to fix this.
Got a set of 5mm shorter vibration isolators from tme.eu.

Boothy fitted a forgery intercooler when he had an Exige. Maybe you could pm him for advice (here or Selcock)?

If get in contact with forge they will send you some smaller mounts out FOC, there customer services are excellent!
