Hi All
After a number of years with my present insurer i’ve decided to look around for a better deal if poss. Having read previous post’s regarding Autotorque and other insurer’s and seeing that a while ago there seemed to be an issue regarding track day’s I thought I’d post with my finding’s.
Have just spoken with a thoruoghly nice chap called Mathew from A’Torque and was quoted �592. This include’s unlimited track use in the UK and EU, agreed valuation, fully comp for road use and all other usual gubbins. I’m 41, cars garaged and limited to 5k per year.What surprised me even more is that they don’t need to use me N.C.B so I can put that onto a second car.
Thought I’d post for information and comments. To me it sounds like a deal, a steal the sale of the $%*$!&$ century.
By the way the car’s an S1 with usual mod’s Emerald, 190 upgrade.

I rang them about 5 times and gave up because they never rang back. Maybe their customer service has improved.

I had the exact same problems when I tried then when I first bought my s1! But thought I would give then another go for the 340r!

You may struggle if you’re aged under 27 (obviously not a problem for some of us!!!).

Chaps, even though I have always had good service from them, (I believe some have not) speak to Matt if you need quotes and nobody else. He is keen and if he does not give good service I would be very surprised.

Couldnt get any realistic quotes (there words) for me! Ive got full ncd, garaged, 3pts, couldnt see what the problem was.

Thanks for the tip, I have now spoken to Mathew who was very helpful but whilst trackdays are included there is an admin charge of �50 to �60 each time. So this should be bourne in mind - otherwise very good

Depending which way you look at that then its either a very expensive admin charge or very cheap trackday insurance cost!
