Insurance

Great! Pick the Exige up tomorrow and fully insured for road use, no problems there. But I want to occasionally use the Exige on the track, which is outside the responsibility of my insurance company. I can only assume that there must be some kind of specialist insurance company who would insure track/racing drivers for the day/weekend or whatever.Any suggestions?

The specialist stuff is stuidly expensive (200+ per day!). Lotus Esteem do good value road/track cover (by far the cheapest option, I cancelled my road only cover after 3 mths and went with them). Thanks for the info, IDG. I’ll check out Lotus Esteem and see what they can do for me.Cheers [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]K.

John O is down at Hethel this weekend, so I will blow his trumpet (ooeer, missus)for him. His company, Autotorque, recently beat my best quote by over 100 for the boss’s Elsie - and it included track cover.

Just had my renewal from Esteem - they are moving away from Norwich Union to Royal & Sun Alliance. My premium is going to be 1,184.68 and track day cover is still included…might be worth checking out a few other companies as well. My premium last year was 1,103.66 so thats a 7.3% increase.

She might come to show us how it is done…
