Insurance....

So with all this talk of the skyrocketing prices who has managed to get agreed value Insurance close to what they believe is a realistic like for like replacement cost?
Mine is up at the end of the month and REIS have told me any value over 40K and they will require a tracker.
Have asked Will Blackham on Seloc for a valuation on mine, parts alone with ‘some’ labour came out at just under 50K, that doesn’t include buying another S1 Exige in the case of a total loss!!

Henderson Taylor have been good with a realistic valuation…no tracker required …yet
Tell Matt I sent you…he will double the price…!!

spoke to Matt this morning, have filled out the quote form, lets see what he comes back with.

Valuation is in from Willb, I think I’ll be fitting a tracker for peace of mind anyway!
Not heard back from HT yet, will give Manning a call as well.

What Tracker are you planning to fit mate?

Cost… no idea!

Double check what the insurance company specifically require. That does look reasonable but no vhf, only gsm and gps, both can be blocked fairly easily.

Gav

Any other recommendations on trackers as I think I’ll need one in the future too…

https://www.aib-insurance.co.uk/ didnt require a tracker for my 350 sport

Quote just in from Henderson Taylor, £974, no tracker required, agreed value at £a lot

Ouch that makes my premium look good but I am an old git with very low mileage but rather a bad accident risk :astonished: .

Maybe there are some advantages being old …

I think it’s more to do with the agreed value, premium was only £390 last year.
