can anyone help re insurance and cover including track use. Getting an exiges S in a few weeks. What companies and rates are you guys getting?
Thanks [color:“black”] [/color]
Assuming you’re over age 28, give Matt Taylor (Henderson Taylor) a ring on 0161 437 7442.
Rates depend very much upon personal details/location/mileage/usage/claims history/points etc.
Try Richard Egger too www.richardeggerinsurance.co.uk

I went with them as for an extra 50 they cover you for 4 trackdays, provided you book with someone from their list and tell them when you’re doing it.
99, 100 (Posts). To see if I go up a level!!
Woohoo- I’m now a member (no sniggering at the back!)

The initial quote came from moneysupermarket.com.
Several insurers being asked to quote just said “that’s really good, I’d take it if I was you”!

Blimey thats cheap…
Have saved CCi’s details for when I need a quote
I haven’t bought mine yet but have had a couple of quotes best so far was:
09 plate Exige S 220
7000 miles per year
35,000 value
5 years no claims
22 years old
Unfortunately I have a DD10 on my licence
my quote was 2,300.
that was from performance direct.
And u want a exige s 220 lol, if you have a mum and dad that drive with a clean licence use one of them as a second drive, or even a sister, by using a female driver as a second driver will knock it down for you, could be up to 500 pounds,
oh and mine is
04 Exige 190
6000 miles per year
30 years old
6 points on licence- all from scotland, dont think they like english drivers
with sister as second driver
900 0 NCB as my MGZR 120 is taking my 5 years as on multi car insurance which together is 1160 so not bad really, thats with Admiral
Haha. Yeah thats with my mum on the insurance. I’ve had a look at a few different cars for insurance like a 911 and a TVR T350 and they’re all much about the same. Decided to go with the lotus because i reckoned it would be a bit more reliable (even tho my elise spent most of its time going back and forth to garages for it to get its electrics etc fixed.)
