OK, so I know this has come up before, but I figured opinions and experiences may change based on current levels of service from the various insurance companies that get mentioned…
So my insurance is due for renewal in a few weeks and I am looking for peoples recommendations and thoughts on where is best to go for insuring a non standard S2 - still yota engine but SC+CC, plus a few bits like carbon roof etc, limited ish mileage and a few track days.

I’m using Chaucer Insurance via Pace Ward. I have my 530D & 2-eleven on one policy. I had two pricey claims 3 years ago. My renewal came in around the �900 mark which I think is fantastic considering.
There seem to be so many odd variations in pricing for year to year, it always seems best to go to all the normal suspects and get a quote from each. Having said that CCI seem to win my business most years.
Recently renewed with Matt at HT. the two things that were adding to the premium big time were ‘commuting and total mileage’. As a second (3rd!!!) car, I didnt really need commuting but it was handy if the other cars were being serviced etc. But for �400 I was happy to drop it.
