Insurance again !

I know it’s been asked a million times but can you tell me the cheap/good places to try.
I was last with CCI but i have tried to get through to them 3 times leaving my number each time and not received any call backs so there out.

Mike

Richard Eggar Insurance Services, now just known as REIS are both cheap and good. Best of Luck

Try Matthew Taylor of Henderson Taylor on 0161 437 7442. Insured with them for 4+ years now, competitive and helpful.
He’s always returned my call when I’ve left a message.

Tony.

I’d go along with Henderson Taylor, too. Free tracks days . . .

Thanks will try those today

Another for mat, top guy great service

REIS have said that they’ll not increase from 4 to 6 foc TD’s. I may have to move, shame nice peeps but at 175 per TD after the saving I make on a multi car policy is out the window sadly. Who does 6 foc?

Jonny, CCI do on their Lotus policy backed by Aviva.

I reluctantly changed from RE to CCI this year mate for the same reason. I wanted the 6TD’s included! I believe Harvey also did the same? …

It is a shame as the ‘risk’ statistically remains the same… and they are IMHO a better group of peeps… well at least on the phone anyway.

Might be my time to move for the same reason 4 is just not enough :frowning:

Seconded (thirded, or whatever we’re up to now)

I got quotes from CCI and Matt at HT.

Matt appears to be part of a small firm and is able to give a very good and personal service. CCI appears to be part of a far larger group, but again no complaints on speed or quality of service.

Both give the same level of cover and after giving them both a chance to re-quote, they both gave the same price…

Decided to go with HT, but after Matt said he wouldn’t be able to get track cover in place in time for this Saturday, I ended up going with CCI, who can get the track cover active in time.

Both firms gave a very good service and I’ll certainly be giving them a call when my other cars need insuring.

what are the going rate of you guys paing for the insurance? i been quoted 800+ fully comp with 40%NCB…I m 31…

Depending where you live and park the car, that does not sound too bad.

Just sticking up for CCI … they have been brilliant for us…

It must be very subjective to your particular circumstances, as I found REIS to be considerably higher than HT and CCI (who I ultimately went with).

Whilst the rates were very similar between HT and CCI, I was put off by how little information HT asked of me over the phone, and when Matt e-mailed the outline quote across it was nowhere near as detailed as CCIs’.

That said, I had my Elise insured with Matt years ago when he was with AutoTorque, so always give him the opportunity.

Them were the days, eh Malc? Hope you’re keeping fit & well
