inline bmw Exige/Elise

Cross post from Seloc because I think it’s interesting

Alot of subframe work there and I would like to see how it looks with its rear clam on.

Can’t see the topic on seloc, do you have the link please?

mmm…worth watching to see what further details emerge

Loving that!!!

I would like to see what they have done with the fuel tank, because I reckon the bottom pulley would be inside the standard tank there. We have talked about doing saddle tanks and moving the engine forward, so you could fit an in-line engine and keep the wheelbase standard.

Very cool, would love to see some more details on that.

I love the air filter box and scoop detail, very well thought out.

try this from that link:

V10

Bloody hell, they have got some work on there!!

Why…?

Agree that the engine choice is a little interesting, so many other options out there for far more power - back end of an A1GP car springs to mind - but other than that, why not?? Suspect that theres a 2 litre atmo class that its competing in somewhere.

Remember pushing a Scooby flat 4 engine and box into the hole left by a K series many moons ago, but needed sooo much work to make it work nicely :frowning:
