Hi All

Couple of injector questions - here goes

  1. If I purchased the 440 injectors & had them installed would it have a positive or negative effect without remapping the ECU ?

  2. If the above has a positive effect how easy is it to fit them ? & who could do it ?

I am asking the question based on the cost of injectors from Lotus (�1000 + ) and also the prospect of the Gotham tune being available in the near future for euro spec cars

Much cheaper to get RC injectors and loom conversions they are about $90 each plus postage, I think Wayne is going to supply a kit of all the parts required.
PS I would not put them in without a new tune

You’ll run the car rich, the ECU will adapt some out and may find a balance that doesn’t throw a fault code.

But its more likely you run rich and have problems with fault codes.

You can do this when a map is lean and find a balance, but its not as effective as getting a map that is engineered to the specification you are running.
