IMPORTANT - Anglesey - Easter

Great pics Ben - the car was certainly going well !! Will have to have a play next time!

Thanks bud, and yes that would be good. Will need to make sure I get some more power then before we meet next then :smiling_imp:

Just finished editing the video,…man I had a lot of fun on Good Friday as there was so much great footage  I tried to edit it down to a few minutes worth and ended up making it too long,…ho hum.

Lots and lots of me and IDG running around together,…Ian can certainly pedal that car round Anglesey :sunglasses: Its currently rendering anyways and then I’ll upload it…

Alas the camera was not running for me and SteveE hammering around together :frowning:

Well, what a cracking couple of days…

I know its taken me a few days to put finger to keyboard but with work, home, stress and everything else thrown in I’ve just not had chance.

My first Exiges.com trackday and it was a complete hoot! Very glad I met up with JonnyFox, Benja, Ade, Steve, John, (a very quick Honda S1 exige - sorry forgot name!) and (a very quick Honda S1 elise - sorry forgot name!) the journey to Anglesey was a pleasure - even if my missus was digging me in the ribs every five minutes to slow down!

Arriving at the Premier Inn, the bar was a welcome sight and a few beers and some food was enough for me, although my missus and Jonnyfox hit the red wine and by bedtime I noticed my good girl with red lips, red teeth, red tongue, and slurring words which tells me she’s trollied! No taking advantage in the bedroom though because I have to be up early!!!

First stop Friday morning - Tesco, to fill up with some juice then a short trundle to the track…

Beautiful sunshine was greeting us at the track and after sign-on and sighting laps the track was open…

Slow for me to start whilst getting used to the track, but as the day went on I was gradually getting faster and faster, plus there is also the Irish sea which is always in your mind - I don’t fancy a swim!

Many thanks to Ade, for a pax, I learnt some new lines and also to swallow some ‘brave pills’ for my braking up the hill!

I was sad to hear of Will’s gearbox failure, hopefully it’ll all be sorted soon.

Bookatrack were a great host and thanks also to Pesky, I still have not had a good nose around his car but I hopefully will at Chatsworth.

All in all, a great bunch of guys, great track, great cars and great fun!

See you all next year!

JonnyFox loves trying to get other peoples mrs’s pissed.

Hee, hee, you did well to keep your curry down. I did have the emergency environmental spill kit on board just in case

Yeah I suppose my inspiration is a bit more Ken Block than Sebastian Vettel, I dont think ill ever make it as a circuit driver

It was a fantastic day though. Great to meet some more of my ‘virtual’ friends as Mrs J refers to you. I owe DaveP a pint, of Mobil 1, thanks for the glug Dave.

Damnit… was getting excited until I saw the ‘Mobil 1’ bit

Anytime buddy

You can hear me  on my vid when I’m following you Wes. You must post up your schedule Wes, my boys ask me everyday when we’re going to see the rally cars!

Exige was IDG (ian) and I was in the elise

The girls love me

That is true, if you are not going to be at an event Jacqui won’t even consider coming along…

Me too, JF is my carbonated hero.
