IMPORTANT - Anglesey - Easter

Mate i would love to be there and if it was on my door step i would be but the reality is its a 1k weekend for me by the time ive done a 600mile round trip. Ive just had a 65k bill in this morning for the car…

Like i said, im sure you will understand…

Seconded.

You’re more than welcome to a drie in mine I can put you down as second driver…

Gav
Ihave worked my fingers to he bone trying to finish the car so you could have a drive!!
Can i stop now and not bother??

Gav

£1k weekend???

You won’t be short of a drive (Benja, Dave, me), & there’s room at the “Big House” for you to bunk up.

Go on, go on, go on…

Understood but :frowning:

That said, add my vote to the Ben/Pesky pressure group, who’s going to misbehave like this?!

You could show me how to pedal a lard ar$e evora too… :sunglasses:

Great pic Ian

Well just come in off the drive - moved snow, took off car cover and the Silva Machine started first turn  - so new rear tyres fitted in the morning and oft we jolly well go - see youzz lot in sunny Wales

Nice one Simone

Good digging! See you there. Curry in Llangefni, Thurs if you fancy.

Weather looks awesome today for you guys, hope it’s just as good there.

I’m going to try and pop over and say hi later on! (if I can sort mine out this morn)

Sorry I missed you Dave, I left at 3.30 due to a bout of sickness brought on by Wes driving like he stole it . And Graeme I popped over but you must of been out on track, hope you got home ok buddy.

Edit also… I hope everyone got home ok. Nice turn out, some lovely looking cars there today, orange and white seem to be the standout popular colours although a certain British Racing Green S2 stole the show for me today, a real beauty! Topcat’s Cup260 and Graeme’s JPS were looking pretty damn cool and so to Dave and DaveP’s projects, good stuff. In truth all of the cars looked great :sunglasses:. Much enjoyable couple of days meeting with old friends and making new…even if I was only a very envious spectator

A great couple of days, all round. A good trip down with a fair number in the convoy and we managed not to lose anyone. Pity my wood burning sat-nav took us to heart of a Llangefni council estate instead of the Bull Hotel but at least it gives you all something to go on about next year.
Loved the friendly atmosphere as always and great to catch up with many Exigers.

What an absolutely epic day - was sooo good to meet up with friends and the best bunch of car folk you could ever wish to know

Thanks Mr P for getting us up off our backsides - a most worthy recipient of the Red Caliper Award

Happy birthday Martin I’m raising a glass as I post

I had a great day toda! guys!, for my first Exiges event. cant believe how lucky we were with the weather . I have even got a red head and face. :astonished:
I noticed John from JSR basically hanging around just helping loads of guys with problems. What a top fella, you don’t see that at most track days. I drove home with more rubber than i came with, shame it was on my paintwork.

Thanks to Pesky and Bookatrack. :sunglasses:

What a fantastic day yesterday, and it was great to meet some new Exigers
Glad you liked my car Jonnyfox, looking forward to seeing yours when it’s finished at a future TD.
Highlight for me was a pax in Tim’s Evora, sorry about the jinks with the two red flags
Thanks Rob and Bookatrack

Great to meet up with everyone again, incredible weather considering …
Thanks to Rob as always for getting it organised and for Bookatrack for running another top day.
Loss of 5th gear ended our day just after lunch but at least we got half a day … Will I feel your pain mate !

loved the whole day, epic fun - even my spin at church

Agreed, another great day ! - Thanks Rob/Bookatrack - having a solid target really helped me pull my finger out and get the car back together - even if it was right down to the line in terms of still getting it ready the day before!

Great to see the usual suspects as well as meet some new ones… apologies I couldn’t be more social during the day as I spent half the day sorting out niggles and bits on the car. Thanks to those who lent a hand with the brake bleeding !

I’d gone fully accepting that it was going to be a bit of a shakedown day, as so much has changed on the car and overall was very happy to have had a few ‘full on attack’ sessions towards the end of the day once I had some rear brakes !!

Proper happy with the car, even if it does need some setup time to get damper settings and geo sorted properly… it went surprisingly well considering it was my first attempt with poles/fishing line !

Can’t wait for the next day out now - small list of jobs to finish off first !

What a fantastic day.
Thanks for organising, Rob.
JF, I owe you a beer or too.
Thanks for help with my lines, Dave P
The A5 is some road with snow clad peaks
Good to put faces to avatars even if I’ve forgotten your real names
