Immobilised!

Can anyone help with immobiliser advice? I’ve just sold my S2 exige today and the new owner is on his way back to France. He stopped at the services and was fiddling with the alarm key fob, now it wont start and is immobilised. He has just been taken to Bristol Street motors in Stafford and they don’t know anything about the system.

I’ve never used the key fob as it was a track car. Does anyone know how to reset the immobiliser?? Please let me know and I’ll call the garage back. Not a good start for him.

The car has realised it is off to frogland & refuses to budge

Hope you get it sorted.

Wes you have a pm

The details are all pretty clear , and are detailed in the vehicle handbook , that is usually kept in the pocket above/in the battery cover.

Unfortunatley no battery box and manual as it’s a race car.

I haven’t heard back from him for the last 3 hours so hopefully it’s going again

Kermit and Herbie both suffer with goodbye,s …

Sorted at last, they had to recode it, not sure what happened to get to that point?

Looks like they’re all happy and the mechanic got an invite to Paris for a weekend!!

Thats the great world of exiges for you. Can you imagine the same scenario trying to fix a Corsa.

P.s big thanks to Phoenix motorsports for their advice over the phone as well
