Anyone here have any dealings with personal plates companies?
I am looking at a plate for Jacqui but it is for sale by just about all of the online companies, they all seem to have huge amounts of T&C and the price varies.
Just hoping someone on here runs or is partner or something who can help me get the plate easily for the right price
I have bought several before but only ever from DVLA directly.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated 
Even a personal recommendation of a trusted company would be good.
Give Dan Lewis a try, I think he’s Renton on here. Has been to a few of the Exige days and into number plates.

I own Dream-Plates.com so I’ve probably got more plate buying/selling experience than most.
You’re doing the right thing in trying to buy directly from the owner - it always hurts me when I sell one of my plates to a dealer knowing the buyer just had to do a bit of homework to save a packet!
What plate are you looking to buy? PM me if you’d rather not share publicly.
Personally, I only market plates that I own 100% outright, so I wouldn’t have have the owner’s details myself.
However I know a few other dealers (much larger than me) who circulate lists of both their own stock and commission-based ‘stock’, so I might be able to help you locate the owner (if the owner is one of the companies I’m pals with).
At the very worst case, I know a dealer who likes quantity of sales over quantity of commission, so I could give him a shout and see what he can get it for.
As a side note, most dealers are 100% legit, however you do have to watch out for the odd bag egg Fraudster has £300,000 confiscated | Daily Echo
