I'm not a BMW fan, but.... (NLC obviously)

I do like this:

Thats Specail fairplay. Big fan of E30’s, bet it goes very well with a V10. Quite a BMW fan, had a few, not long got rid of a CSL’d E46 M3. Always fancied an E39 M5 as a second car and they can now be found as cheap as 7-8k.

The workmanship in that car thought is something else.

‘V10 in a box’

LoL

that is awesome - must admit to being a big fan of e30 m3s and that must be mind boggling.

Great find Rob, enjoyed that!

How clean is that workshop! i could eat my dinner off it. Lol

WOW, that is awesome. I love looking at money no object cars like that. That must of cost a fortune to do. There must be about a zillion hours work in that shell and I bet brand new in a crate BMW V10 engines aren’t cheap either!!

I have always liked BM’s I have had 2 E30 318is’s, 1 E30 M3, 2 E46 M3’s, and my current daily drive is a 135i coupe.

Awesome.

I was behind a Mk1 Escort with a TVR V8 and did a bit of internet research and found a build thread and that it cost about 100k!!!

I’m with Sean I like BM’s. I had a breadvan M-Coupe and there would be an E39 M5 on the drive as the family workhorse if it would fit behind the Exige…which it won’t :frowning:

As above e30 m3s just do something for me. Can’t really explain why - suspect it might have something to do with touring cars of the late 80s early 90’s.

Now as soon as my new shed arrives…

E30 m3, Lotus Elan Sprint or Mini Cooper S…

MMMMmmmmnnnnn

Gotta be an Elan surely. Nice foil to a bonkers Exige to have that waiting in the garage for a top-down weekend spin out into the Warks countryside for a spot of lunch.

Trying to find a nice one that isn’t mega bucks is the challenge at the moment though - not many for sale :frowning:

Fav is still the one at the Donny show this year :sunglasses:

although that M3 is still appealing !

I would imagine that you should be going for one that has been stripped/rebuilt during the last 10 years, otherwise possible money pit???

Dutch friend of mine purchased an E30 M3 … he finished the repairs to it the same week he left to live in USA

I think the major scuttle repair was the worst shock for him … in every way …

That build is awesome though … the best thing is the finished article looks quite stock … The thought that went into it before cutting is what impressed me.

I miss those American Hot Rod shows

Dont you get something like “Pimp my Ute” in your neck of the woods mate?!?!

Aus Top gear tested Ute’s in a quarry … carrying stuff … :astonished:

They were given a hard time in the press for actually putting rocks in a pick up … seems not the thing to do to your polished deck …

The Supercharged V8 won of course

Just found this… Click Here

Very cool - OK Con you can get an E30 M3 if it has a V10 in it. That thing seriously shifts.

Was looking for one on the web the other night and came across this dodgy sounding bloke selling one. Dop you think he can be trausted

Nah I’d keep looking Con. Dodgy import that’s been to the moon and back, bits and bobs of random parts, rebuilt this 'n that. He’s probably some kind of dodgy brummie working out of a lock-up in an industrial park
