So had a nice day at the dyno today and I am officially done with engine mods.
The car is insanely wicked fast with more torque in the midrange than you can imagine…547 rwhp 384 ft tq at 5,200 rpm.
With a gerabox loss of 15% this puts me at 632 BHP…
Check out the dyno sheets … <LINK_TEXT text=“http://www.lotussport.org/viewtopic.php … 6&start=20”>http://www.lotussport.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4386&start=20</LINK_TEXT>

Excellent figures Frank.
How are those AFR’s holding up … LOL
Impressive
AFR’s looked good around low 12’s / high 11’s
I’m sure there’s a list somewhere of your mods to date - can you point us in the right direction
Dedicated to Frankie

Well done frankie boy!!
Quite insane levels of power
pahh 700 is where it’s at
Nice Frank …
Who needs Audi / Honda ???
That’s bloody impessive for an NA…you are soooooo cool
Nice one Frank
NA…who said I’m Not Addicted ?
Guys this is like going up another three levels from where it was with 518 rwhp, the part that is mental is the 100 ft. tq. gain in the midrange, that’s what slams your head in to the seatback…
I think I’ll do an old Caroll Shelby Cobra trick and post a $100 bill on the dash and if you can reach it under acceleration it’s yours…
Get it on a boat quick !!!
Or failing that the new series of Top Gear

Easy win in a lotus, can’t reach the dash when strapped in anyways!
Dude that was a secret… I’m really done since my wife said I’m sleepin on the boat if I put another dime into the car…Hmmm it is a good sized boat…
More power please ??
774 HP Clicky
They are up to 850 hp on alcohol and 41 psi. now but it’s just a drag Celica…
10 gal of alcohol would last about 40 miles in a Lotus…
methanol… brings back memories of 2 strokes …last I bought was around 1990 ,10 a gallon then … coupled with the ratio needed makes it ‘kin’ expensive !!
Cool pistons tho
Yeah I lied…663.5 bhp now… 577 rwhp…

The last tune is using a reflashed oem ECU not the AEM.
I wanted to prove a point that a properly tuned oem ECU can make the same if not better numbers plus have oem driveability vs a aftermarket standalone ECU…
This tune was done by Jermaine of VF Superchargers, he came out to help me with with my last and finial tune… It is almost too fast for an old man …
This my friends is Group B
OEM rocks !!
Really good result Frank … Hoping its gonna serve you well with reliability, and tbh I can’t see why not .
That output on an 1800 block is commendable…
Only 1 more thing to say … when ya coming to England to buy me a beer keg ??
And if you do , can you put a few pulleys in your pockets …no-one over here has worked out the concept yet !!
over here… some still use open diffs ffs !!
But slowly they are coming round …
I even believe instead of a gold watch , Pesky has requested a golden Quaife !
Peskey wants a golden Quim and a leg ?
If I ever get off my butt I will make it over one of these days…
Ok I’m a fuccckin lier about being done, this afternoon I took off my 2.8" supercharger pulley and put on my old 2.5" supercharger pulley …
Dudes the sucker is like a ronin candle now…
Rolling into the throttle in 5th gear from 3,000-3,500 rpm will make a nice 16.5 psi., now it makes 22.5 psi. at the same rpm…
It is a freakin rocket pig.
So it’s back to the dyno on Sat. to see what the real finial numbers are…
