I need a litte bit of help with COC

Hi!
I have currently a 06 federal Exige which is currently registered on an exemtion in Norway.
Currently I am trying to register the car as an EU model to allow me to modify the car(the exemtion does not allow that).
Tom Harvey at the Lotus factory is very helpful providing me with some documentation which show which parts I need to change to make my car identical to a European specifiction Exige.
However the way the local road authories work, they require a COC of an actual EU specification car as a reference.
(a COC sample which hasn’t got an actual chassisnumber, provided by Lotus is apparently not good enough).

So i am hoping there is a kind soul here which has got an 06 NA Exige of european specification which could “borrow” me their chassisnumber. As well as giving me a written permission which I can forward to Lotus, so that I can get hold of an actual COC as the local authoties requires, as Lotus obviously wont issue a COC for any random car which I do not own

Thanks in advance

Tor

Anyone?
BTW permission to use the chassisnumber of a UK specification car would also do the job.
Thanks

I very much doubt anyone will ‘borrow’ you the details to their car chassis number…

Sorry to say.

Find one at the scrappers and get the COC for that?

Well I have actually got a chassisnumber now(with permission to use it). Just trying to figure out if it is “good enough” as it is for a 06 Lotus Elise. A 06 Exige chassisnumber would make it easier

The chassisnumber isn’t really a big secret in our cars anyway, as they are posted in the windscreen for everbody walking past the car to see

Well.
I’m still looking for a chassisnumber for an 06 Exige, which can be used with permission from the owner. As it gets to complicated to use a Elise COC as a reference for a federal 06 Exige. :frowning:

Most people remove that sticker!
